Little Green acres was founded by Dina and Marcin Zalewski, local residents of Georgetown, Ontario. We are both very health conscientious people with a passion for healthy food and healthy living.
For most of the year, the vegetables that you eat travel 1,000 or more miles and spend countless days in trucks and storage coolers. Many of the nutrients that were in the veggies deteriorate before you even have a chance to eat them.

We started growing microgreens sprouts and wheatgrass to naturally supplement our healthy lifestyle. Microgreens are a great way to add more vitamins & minerals into your diet, with 20 to 40 times more nutrients than their full grown versions.
You can add pinches of various microgreens to your salads or incorporate them into a dish and get the same nutritional value as eating three servings of vegetables.
